The Parent’s Last Requests

For those of us that are fortunate enough to have parents that are still living, here is a video that expresses some thoughts and ideas that our aging parents might be thinking, though they may never speak them out loud.

Isn’t it interesting how the roles reverse over time. When we are first born and need help to survive, our parents are there to take care of us and make sure that we know that we are loved. Then as we become adults and our parent’s lives are nearing their end, then we become the care takers with a chance to reciprocate.

And sadder than this scenario are the children that do not accept this challenge. When the time comes for you (if it hasn’t come already), what will you do?

Did this video move you at all?

If so, would you like to share below?

Can you imagine your parents making any of the statements in the videos?

Which one(s)?
