In this video Matthew McConaughey gives a very moving performance from the movie “We Are Marshall”, a true story about 37 football players on the Marshall University Thundering Herd football team as well as five coaches, two athletic trainers, the athletic director, 25 boosters and a crew of five that all perished in a plane crash in November of 1970.
I love the way the speech ended with the words “The funeral ends today!”
